The Philippines have more than 7600 islands, the most beautiful island is presented here…

Siquijor is the ‚Island of Fire‘

Siquijor has a circumference of around 75 kilometres and a relatively small population of about 100,000, which means there is pleasantly little traffic. The main road, which circles almost the entire island, is well paved, making it very easy and safe to get around by motorbike or scooter. There are also exciting mountains and great topography, but you should already be able to ride a bit, as the fantastic landscape is not particularly suitable for beginners.
Mostly low traffic on the island
Away from this ring road, the roads are often narrower and some are still unpaved. Although tourism is growing, it is still developing at a relaxed pace, and the island retains its quiet charm away from mass tourism. However, driving in the evening should be avoided, as some dogs mistake the road for a comfortable bed, which often leads to unpleasant encounters for motorcyclists.
Just over 105,000 people live on the island. The island’s capital is Siquijor with around 29,000 inhabitants, Lazi has just under 23,000 inhabitants, San Juan, the “party city”, has around 17,000 inhabitants, and Maria and Larena each have around 15,000 inhabitants. There are also still some people living in the countryside, some of them in beautiful landscapes. Traffic is busy in all of the cities mentioned, but it is nothing compared to Manila or Cebu.

Perfect backdrop for exciting adventures on two wheels

Sea Breeze Motorbike Rental in Larena is the perfect partner for unforgettable experiences on Siquijor. Marie, a pretty girl full of adventure, rented a 125cc Honda scooter there and began her exploration of the island. Thanks to Sea Breeze’s first-class tour plans, she was able to discover Siquijor’s breathtaking beaches, hidden waterfalls and idyllic villages in a stress-free and flexible way.

With her reliable Honda scooter, Marie from Dublin, Ireland, enjoyed the freedom to experience the fascinating nature of the ‘Island of Fire’ at her own pace. Marie said in an interview: “The friendly staff at Sea Breeze ensured that everything ran smoothly and gave me valuable tips that greatly enriched my three-week island trip.”
She remembers many little adventures that ‘I have never experienced before’. Marie: “Thanks to Sea Breeze, every ride on the Honda 125cc scooter was a little adventure… Later, my friends joined me and… the six of us met up on six speedy scooters, all in neon yellow, hahaha.”

Ken is the experienced boss of Sea Breeze and he adds in an interview with a serious expression: “Be welcome on Siquijor. But please don’t drink and drive, that also applies in the Philippines and especially on Siquijor,” warns Ken from Sea Breeze Larena….

The combination of high-quality motorbike rental and personal recommendations makes Sea Breeze the ideal choice for anyone who wants to discover Siquijor authentically and independently. Marie is certainly not the only one who has experienced unforgettable moments on this wonderful island with a motorbike from Sea Breeze.
